He's pro-whale stoning, anti-secular teabagging and pro-childbirth quotas. Now the man who put the "good riddance" in goodbye when he left Idaho for the national stage has added another in his long line of illuminating stances: he's pro-giving awards for killing people.
Bryan Fischer, the "Director of Issues Analysis" for the conservative Christian group the American Family Association, was unhappy yesterday that President Obama awarded the Medal of Honor to a soldier for saving lives. This, Fischer wrote on his blog, shows that the Medal of Honor has been "feminized" because "we now award it only for preventing casualties, not for inflicting them."

Fischer's take? "So the question is this: when are we going to start awarding the Medal of Honor once again for soldiers who kill people and break things so our families can sleep safely at night?"
Focus on the absurdity of your choice; there are many. A supposed-Christian advocating for killing, that the U.S. once honored its killers and breakers of things, or that preventing casualties is a "feminine" trait.
Fischer is the man Idaho conservatives revered and to whom some in the Idaho media deferred. Do they still, with the curtain pulled back and the lunacy exposed?
I normally don't like to use bad language, but Bryan Fischer is a fucking asshole.
