Yesterday, Idaho Congressman Bill Sali voted against a reworked State Children's Health Insurance Program bill that passed the House but failed to get a veto-proof majority. This was despite reworking the bill to address the three major concerns Republicans expressed with the original bill.
From The Hill:
The revised measure will include provisions prohibiting coverage of adults, preventing families with incomes of 300 percent of the poverty level from qualifying for the program, and making it harder for illegal immigrants to sign up for the program.
HR 3963 Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act — To amend title XXI of the Social Security Act to extend and improve the Children's Health Insurance Program, and for other purposes.

Thank you, I stumbled over it late last night - trust me, totally by accident.

Little Adam is still trying to tackle this as a "socialism" entitlement that grants free insurance to adults and hails Sali as the next great savior of our mighty tax dollar. He also seems totally incapable of understanding poverty levels vs. cost of living levels.
He's a sad man, full of loathing for those that are so much more intelligent and capable than himself. I wonder how he can stand to look himself in the mirror?
