For a quick lesson in how not to fill out Idaho's Campaign Finance Disclosure forms, look no further than reports from the 2006 campaign of District 11 Rep. Steven Thayn (R-Emmett).
It seems things got off to a bad start with the Pre-Primary report beginning with the Summary on page one.
And things just didn't get any better.
Similar errors continued with the Detailed Summary on page two where if you look closely at the actual scanned report, it appears to have undergone a liberal dose of white-out.
And whose handwriting is that? Certainly not the same person who wrote Thayn's name on Schedule A, page three. [Names and addresses have been intentionally blurred.]
More errors on page three.
And the report continues in this fashion throughout. Now you would think that the Thayn campaign would have worked through all the bugs in that first required report for the election cycle but not so fast. The Post Primary report contains many of the same errors; here's a shot of the Detailed Summary page.
It doesn't get any better until after the election. Check out all the reports here.

Just noticed a potentially huge problem on page two of the pre-primary report.
It contains no fax transmission data at the top of the page. Every other page in that report shows data from Manpower at the top. The page two in this report doesn't appear to be the original page two.

This is the imbecile who said going to public school is like child abuse. With comments like that, is it any surprise he/or someone else, can't fill out a form? What an idiot.
